Silly Tuesday - what time is it?Posted by Bill Jennings ((Bay Area Northern Calif), United States) on 16 June 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. Need to know the time - just ask Sweetpea to climb up and check the time with any nearby sundial: we're at Filoli. Just made it home after a month of travel - posted a few photos from my journey to within 48 miles of the antartica circle: at nearly the longest day of the year: hence, there was 21 hours a day of sunlight... Thank you for your patience while I was out of touch. I do hope you followed Bob Kelly's blog (my roommate) while he is still traveling - he is now on Easter Island - and will be updating his blog for some time to come - please check it out!

Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesGreat image for today! I absolutely love Filoli! It is great fun to go on an artist access evening, then you almost have the place to yourself! 16 Jun 2009 5:25am @Tracy: Didn't know about artist night - must absolutely do that - do you plan to go to one soon? Dulcie from Danville, United StatesWell, is she precocious or what! What a darling. Fun shot! 16 Jun 2009 6:38am @Dulcie: She is a climber, no doubt. I don't think her back ever touched a changing table, as she was doing ab crunches from two weeks old - to keep from touching the table when we changed her... @Veronique: Yes, she absolutely adores pink. ... @jamesy: Thanks jamesy.. @Sarito: Thanks Sarito - kids are great for tuesdays!!! @Veronelle: Merci Veronelle. MrsAmber from West Wickham, United KingdomWhat a sweet pea. And perfectly co-ordinated colour-wise with the flowers. Lovely shot! 16 Jun 2009 10:21am @MrsAmber: Yes, she's my pink sweetpea - didn't plan on the colors for the onesy, but it does add to the shot !!! Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesAdorable shot of your Sweetpea ... and the colors just POP in this image. Too cute to be silly, but it'll work. :D 16 Jun 2009 1:24pm @Judy: Weighing cuteness over silliness is always a tough one ! especially when it's my daughter, but I'm always biased: love my kids, and I think they are adorable. Sometimes I may put too much of them on this blog, and want to balance out the portfolio: but I couldn't resist this shot. Scott Schilling from San Martin, United StatesGreat shot and good work with the shirt in pink and the pink flowers! Very Cute! 16 Jun 2009 1:32pm @Scott Schilling: Thank you Scott. The pink shirt and flowers do indeed link together quite nicely - that's a great co-incidence when I took the shot. MARIANA from waterloo, CanadaVery cute picture. She looks as pretty as any flower around her !! 16 Jun 2009 1:49pm @MARIANA: Thank you Mariana. I think the flowers look as pretty as she does !!! john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesToo precious for words; marvelous capture. 16 Jun 2009 1:49pm @john4jack: Thank you Jack. Sugata from Newark, United StatesCute shot, and lovely title! To repeat what others have already said before, it seems as you put her in a pink T-Shirt on purpose to take this shot! Happy Silly Tuesday to you too! :) 16 Jun 2009 1:50pm @Sugata: Thank you Sugata - I didn't plan the pink outfit for sweetpea: but it does tie the flowers together with her very nicely in this candid. The photo is very bright for me - access to the gardens is generally only during the midday sun. Thanks for the Silly Tuesday well wishes. Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandHehehehe a wonderful sweet shot hehehehe. So young to be telling the time too lol. Excellent! 16 Jun 2009 4:50pm @Linerberry: Oh, but she does indeed know how to tell time, count money, and pull on dad's heart... She's a quick study: and will continue to be a handful for the rest of her life. Glad you like this ST post. dj.tigersprout from New York City, United Stateswonderfully corresponding color!! :) the time is PINK! 16 Jun 2009 6:41pm @dj.tigersprout: yes, the time is Pink !!! what a great co-incidence that makes the photo.
